Ricardo Silva-Toledo has more than a decade of experience advising on tax strategies for the business sector, and is a seasoned litigator in the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Silva-Toledo was legal administrator of large taxpayers for the Tax Administration Service, a decentralized body of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, specifically, coordinating to defend cases of national and international audits, tax refunds, financial sector and transfer pricing in the Tax Court.

Mr. Silva-Toledo’s practice focuses on litigation in the private and public sectors, tax refunds, consulting, tax audits as well as tax strategies, is a highly experienced tax consultant who has focused on tax planning and consultancy in different tax matters. Mr. Silva-Toledo is an expert negotiator with tax authorities.

His expertise includes several tax litigations and the design of schemes in tax burdens, tax audits attention as well as tax refunds.

He has coordinated several tax litigations in the private and public sectors, as well as several amparo trials.

Law Degree for the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico, Post Graduate Studies in Tax Law for the Instituto de Estudios Sobre Justicia Fiscal y Administrativa, and Post Graduate in Tax Law for the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. Mr. Silva-Toledo has spoken on several tax matters in seminars organized by the Tax Administration Service.

He is a native Spanish speaker and fully proficient in English language, as well as French.
